Does not work for my interfaces I am running a Cisco 6509 with a SUP720. This device is running in hybrid mode. I m running IOS on the SUP and CatOS on the switch. Only the virtual interfaces are accessible via IOS; the hardware interfaces are SNMP accessed thru CatOS. The interfaces I am particularly interested in getting data about are "aggregated" interfaces -- two, 1Gig interfaces bonded with EtherChannel to form a single 2G interface. I haven\'t had a chance to exchaustively test the program yet, but I have set it up to monitor the local connnections and the data and graphs that comes back looks really good. I\'ll keep using it. If it keeps looking good, I\'ll look at purchasing it for my organization.

Was unable to install on Vista Ult 64 version. Setup would start but window displaying the setup info was minimized and could not be restored or made visible at any point. From reviews this would have been a great program for my needs but, better luck next time. Tried installing/downloading 5x.

Well, PRTG is very useful for me especially an "Auto Discovery" tool.Also,I enjoy its nice GUI

I do not have anything good to say. Tried to install on Vista Home Premium, SP1 but the install keept on hanging. It did leave a half install system that was a mess to clean.

Good, but no application-based analysis PRTG is a nice'n'easy way to monitor stuff and its port-based analysis is good. The one thing it still misses is the ability to tell me which application is using all my bandwidth. Port-based analysis gets part way there, but that won't tell me which app is talking too much when all the apps talk over port 80. What I really want to know is how much each of my apps is phoning home. Windows badly needs this since so many windows programs phone home without user control on how often. Bandwidth usage meter by process would do the trick.

PRTG easy to use PRTG this software is very good to use and easy.

I can't find anything that displays bandwidth used by a particular node/ip in a network.I want to find the bandwidth used by a particular internet user in a LAN. Internet is provided using proxy.

Presently I am looking for IP range level traffic monitoring tool, where I can monitor which IP is utilizing more bandwidth in given IP range, I also require to manage or administer the bandwidth for the IP range network. internet monitoring for a wireless DSL Modem Hello,The program interface is very friendly but i couldn't use it to monitor the internet traffic on my children laptops. we use wireless DSL modem D-Link G604T/Tx in our home to connect to the internet and i expected i can monitor the traffic directly on the modem itself.MEASAK

Chat logs Overall I like IM Monitor, however in testing, the chat log does not record chats from AIM, which is the primary reason I tried the program.

Cluttered and misbehaved This program has a lot of hints and advertising to make you purchase the not-free version, or other software from the same vendor. The interface is cluttered and not very polished at all. I didn't bother trying to actually use it.

Nice Program for one usage. If you want just to check new monitor, this is not the thing you need. You need something more simple. But it can do more than only monitor check! You can configure your monitor using this tool. And, good that trial version is availble - it's enough to test monitor once.

Its a fair program. Well I would say just to see if there is any defects with your monitor it will ok but it has no info about the tests at the end, no specs, limits of monitor peaks. I wouldn't buy it, it would have been better if the computer did the tests itself, and produced a report on it. Kye.
